Discussion:
Drivers Question

Chuck,

I have been trying to implement a Drivers.php file for the Juno project. To say
the least, it has been interesting.

My question is, should I implement the driver to return *ALL* rows and then
filter using the Code like you have in Nag. We are potentially going to have
*several* records and I think it would be a big hit on speed to use a separate
filter system than the database itself.

Thanks...

It's a design decision - for Nag, I think it's fine, and it means that any
additional drivers don't have to implement filtering. For Juno, it might
make more sense to require that the backend do the filtering/sorting - a
text file backend is completely doable for Nag, but wouldn't make sense for
Juno.

Thanks. I'll set this up today or tomarrow then. I actually have three
different tables I need to access as well.
Great - looking forward to some progress on Juno.

So would I... My checkbook skills suck. Which is the reason for the project...
I access Horde - IMP and calendar all the time. It would be nice to have my
check register right there as well. ;-)

BTW:

* I understand how to do a checkbook. Don't want to scare you ;-)
* I just forget to write checks into the register in a timely fashion.
